Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a fantastic location in the heart of Yosemite, perfect for exploring the valley. The clean and cozy rooms were a highlight, although the price is on the higher side for what you get. Service and staff interactions could be improved, as some were not as welcoming. Overall, it’s a great choice for those wanting to embrace nature while having the comforts of a lodge.
The hotel is situated in a prime location within the national park, allowing easy access to stunning views and trails. However, the room amenities left much to be desired, and the service could use a boost in hospitality. With the current price point, I expected better room quality and service. Overall, the breathtaking location somewhat compensates for the less-than-stellar accommodations.
The lodge is perfect for families and offers a rustic yet comfortable stay. It's great to be so close to the stunning Yosemite Valley and various activities, making it a convenient base for our adventures. That said, the food options weren't impressive, and we faced issues with room comfort and service during our visit. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for nature enthusiasts but has room for improvement in dining and room upkeep.
Staying at the lodge was a pleasant surprise; it felt better than I had anticipated. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a private balcony that became a lovely spot where Steller Jays visited us each day. Though there were minor cleanliness issues and the dining options were a bit basic, the location made it all worthwhile, especially for access to the trails and views of Yosemite. Overall, it’s a solid choice, but some aspects could use improvement.
The Yosemite Valley Lodge is situated in an outstanding location, really close to major sights like the falls and trails. The views from the balcony are gorgeous, but the rooms can feel a bit outdated and less clean than expected for the price. The staff are helpful, but some amenities like Wi-Fi and soundproofing leave a lot to be desired. Overall, it's a mixed bag, especially considering the high rates.
